Gloria Dinah Mwesigwa

Bachelor of Agribusiness Management at Makerere University

Dream job

My dream job is to be an agribusiness entrepreneur. It is a very important part in the agricultural development. In the future, I would love to start up an agribusiness consultant firm that would focus on helping young people and women to improve their skills. This would be accomplished by practices that provide knowledge about e.g. value addition and marketing to minimize the gaps in the agricultural sector. This will improve food security, value addition and reduce poverty.

I enjoy playing net ball, singing and participating in voluntary community activities, like planting trees.

My name is Gloria Dinah Mwesigwa. I am 19 years old, born 16th of March 1998 in Uganda, Kaliro district. I am a hardworking, committed, motivated and goal oriented person. I desire to become the best student. I am the second born among seven children. I studied at Jinja Central School during my primary education, and later on I went to Wanyange Girls School for my secondary education. My mother is a peasant who grows corn to raise money for my education fees, my dad has passed away. I am now studying towards my Bachelor's of Agribusiness Management at Makerere University (three years in total) with support from Help to Help.
