Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at Makerere University

Dream job

In the future I want to be a software engineer. My dream is to make sure my society no longer view technology as something strange. I want to develop the latest technological advancements to my home country, especially for my home village. My dream is to invent software and apps so that the natives will be able to use and enjoy programs and applications.

I like singing! I am also a member of the Rotary Club at the university.

I am Grace Babirye, I am the second born in a family of ten children. I grew up with my mother in Busowoko Village Butagaya sub-county in the Jinja district. My family is very humble and loving. I went to Gertrude Academy Primary School and later on I joined Iganga Secondary School. I was previously sponsored by the Brac Scholarship Program at the Mastercard foundation. Now, I am so thankful for the Help to Help scholarship program. You have given me a future!
