Bachelor of Science in Applied Zoology at University of Dar es Salaam
Dream jobMy dream job is to be a zoologist. This will bring me closer to my society since I will study the problems and challenges they meet so I will be able to help them.
InterestsEven though I’m not very skilled I like to sing. I also love writing poems.
BackgroundI’m the first born among nine children in my family. My mother gave birth to me while she wasn’t married and still very young. She couldn’t take care of me so she left me with my grandmother and went elsewhere to find job. My father couldn’t take care of me either, but I don't know why. When my grandmother died, they sent me to my aunt. I lived with her for a year before she died of a mysterious sickness. Then, another aunt took me in and I also started to study. Thereafter, my mother took me to her new family since she was now married. My mother was responsible for everything up to my secondary education, but there were not enough funds so I had to work to help my mother. When I finished my form six, my mother told me to find my father because there was conflict with her husband. So, I came to Dar es Salaam and started to work. After one year, I decided to go to school and I hoped that I could get help from the government with the school fee but I couldn’t.
