Every day a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up, it knows that it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. I doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you better be running.

We both seem happy for what we were doing since we delivered what we had to our young sisters and brothers, they also enjoyed and learnt something. Thanks to our donors and helptohelp family since you are also the reason for my happiness.

Medicine is not only based on treating patients but we also provide education to our fellow society members. Since our societies and country at large are in struggle so as to make sure young school children study and meet their goals by making sure the rate of early pregnancies is reduced and later on eradicated completely, we as medical students support our government as we visited different schools and spoke to our young sisters and brothers about reproductive healthy. It was really interesting meeting secondary school pupils since they learnt a lot from us and we also learnt that parents are not speaking to their children especially young girls when they enter puberty.

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you, making you spill the coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the coffee? You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in your cup, you would have spilled tea. The point is whatever is inside the cup will spill out. Therefore when life comes along and shakes you what will happen, whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled. So, we have to ask ourselves, "What's in my cup?" When life gets tough, what will split out? Joy, greatness of, peace and humility? Or does anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions come out? You choose! Today let's work toward filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, kindness, gentleness and love for others.1

Together with Dr . Napoli during the Merck Foundation Conference which was held at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Science. The conference included medical students from different universities and I too was among the medical students who attended the conference, the main theme was "EVERY DAY IS A DIABETIC DAY" and "WHAT A HEALTHY HEART NEEDS". I personally learned alot about Diabetes Mellitus together and Hypertension especially the causes and risk factors, negative effects and how to control for those who are already victims, and now I'm also sharing the knowledge that I got from the conference with my society members, family as well as friends and fellow students.
