Help to help has helped me to complete my studies without any financial worries. Help to help has also taught me to have a kind heart like what my donors showed to me. Help to help pushed me to read harder for a better future. My intention is to invest and start up big businesses in my community in future so as to add value to it. My plan is to start up my own business in the next six months

Since I got the scholarship I have heard enough time to concentrate on academics rather than struggling looking for tuition. Also the continuous seminars helptohelp organised for us prepared me to be someone who wants to create a positive change in the community. And I will use my position in the community as a doctor to create change especially in as far as primary prevention of preventable diseases is concerned. As a changemaker I will provide comprehensive patient education and community involvement in health promotion. I will use the money am getting from allowances as a medical intern to start up a poultry project.

The Help to Help scholarship has enabled me to attain my degree with a second class upper which I might have not attained because of a lot of distractions. Through work shops I have been equipped with soft skills that have enabled me to associate with people I work with and to get some few connections that are aiding me to aim at being a change maker in my community. In the near term I am focused on putting my theoretical knowledge to practice and give back to the community through medical camps that are organized by the district. My longer range goal is to become a better nurse, subject matter expert in my field. I want to become the person others seek out for answers to their most difficult problems. Through my network I want to encourage fellow young girls in my community to take on science subjects positively and add on the workforce inthe health sector . Currently am doing in Mulago National Referral Hospital where I was deployed as a medical intern by the ministry of health doing Mandatory internship which last for one year so that I can be able to get a practicing licence. I started in Feb will be finishing in Feb 2022.

I conducted that activity with my friends at a primary School near our University in order to bring close all students regardless of their life status. Through community outreach I contributed on giving hope to those students from different families. We did it for our own as a group because of the system that we made for our group.

I think before  I was so worried about gender imbalance as our community male was over everything and there are some people that believed that only men can perform certain issues especially leadership. But currently am worried about the spread of viruses such as covid 19, though up to now I don’t have any solution rather than keeping distance as possible,

During my community activity I was cleaning the washrooms of the orphanage center as to show love and unity with those kids,
But also it’s helps to have more time to spend with them as well as have a talk with in different issues that surrounding them as education, especially to girls.

Climate change will affect the future development of the world as it affects the agriculture sector which has a great impact on the world's economy. We should encourage the use of natural fertilizers in agriculture and reduce the usage of harmful pesticides. The government should at least leave the land for planting trees and vegetation to balance the ecosystem. I will try to encourage farmers in my community to use safe methods of cultivating so as to conserve the environment.

We conducted our community outreach as a group of beneficiaries of Help to Help from Sokoine University of Agriculture. We decided to visited children with disabilities at Chamwino Amani Centre so as to encourage them and their mentors and let them know that there are people out here who think and care about them. We managed to contribute a little to them from the money we and the people we invite contributed with. Also we stay and talk to them and play so as to make them feels special at least .
