Help to Help has shaped me very well to be able to compete in the job market and to be employable in general. This is because it has offered me various soft skills through workshops such as computer literacy skills, interview skills, cover letter, CV writing and so on. I have organized my fellow classmates to establish a small group for the aim of conducting outreaches to promote reading habit and establishment of libraries in secondary schools. As we have graduated, we are planning to conduct the first outreach on January 2021. I am planning to run my own business as I have established a small retail shop in Dar es salaam. Also I will be looking for employment opportunities.

Through the different trainings prepared by Help to Help, I gained skills on the way that I can use to employ myself. For example, a project manager that works to establish small businesses. I now realize that I should not wait to be employed, but rather grab the opportunities available. I intend to add value in my community by helping others by spreading my knowledge and skills in whatever situation that I am capable to do it. My plans in the next six months are to have a well established business that will help me being able to employ others, as it has been my long time dream.

Help to Help has helped me to become employable as follows, 1. Through their scholarship, they have funded my studies which has enabled me to be academically qualified as “Adult education and community development Officer.” 2. Through workshops and seminars I have attained potential skills which help me in job applications. Not only that, but also about self-employment through inspirations from different speakers. As “Adult and community education facilitator”, I have decided to start to facilitating adult education in the Lindi Region, particularly Milola ward. Some of the community members have already benefited from this. In the next six month I have planned to make sure I have a permanent work from a well and registered organization or institution.

Help to Help has empowered me with employable skills, basic IT skills, interview and cover letter writing skills, entrepreneurship skills. In such, these skills will help me to be employed or employ myself. Through, paying my tuition fees, I have been able to acquire a bachelor degree that will help me do better in the employment market. I will assist people in my community with the medical knowledge that I have - for example medical advice - encouraging them to go for medical checkup and others related to my career. My plans in next six months, is to have a small business that will increase my income during my free time apart from my internship program. I will make research on starting later a small medical laboratory.

Help to Help helped me a lot. Through the organisation I have been a good student that has passed with high grades. They also provided me with computer skills, which I can use as an additional skill in my career. Help to Help taught me that we cannot depend on just one plan, we can have another plan, rather than depending on being employed. Help to Help also taught me how to be an entrepreneur, and how to use the knowledge I have to change the society which I came from, hence sustainable development. I intend to add value in my community by providing what I have been learning, especially in health sector, from teaching them a good hygiene and how they can be prevented from different disease. I want to become a laboratory technician so as to save peoples life. Also, I will help the society in environmental issues, since if we treat the environment correctly there will be no eruption of diseases or infection. My plan in the next six months is to create big achievements in both my society and my family. I will provide education on prevention of different diseases in the society according to what i have been studying at the college.

Thanks to being a Help to Help Scholarship beneficiary, my IT skills have been improved especially use of email, cover letters, Microsoft programs, etc. I have got to meet different people from different places over Tanzania. I expect to bring hope to the neglected in society. In my field of medicine, I will make sure I treat all people with the same dignity. Stretch my hands to other students who can't make it to their dreams. My plan for the next 6 months is to complete my one year Internship.

In the picture I was at field at an Agency in Arusha. I got a chance to visit the Retention Centre where children in conflicts with law are kept for legal proceedings. I did a lot of works concerning people's welfare. In the centre I got a chance to provide education about behavior modification, the impacts of commiting crimes and providing education about childrens' rights and their responsibility in the community. Also to create awareness to the children to learn from their mistakes so that they can't repeat again to commit crimes.
