"When I saw that the figure for Melchsedecks remaining tuition fee was $ 900 I thought it was doable!"
Mikael Bolte, who's a monthly donor to Help to Help wanted to do something special in conjunction with his 30th birthday. "I don't need gifts. It simply doesn't feel relevant for me today". Instead, Mikael chose to initiate a fundraiser on Facebook for Melchsedeck, one of our Engineering students in Tanzania. "My personal connection to Engineering through my education and my job at Scania - it just felt right."
"When I saw that the figure for Melchsedecks remaining tuition fee was $ 900 I thought it was doable!" It took only a few days, and on Mikael's actual birthday, the fundraiser reached its goal that now enables the rest of Melchsedecks studies in Tanzania and his future as an engineer.
"I believe in a grassroots focus. The change becomes more sustainable".
