BACKGROUND
I was born in Moronga village. In our family we are eight children. I started public primary school in Imalilo village. In 2013 I was selected to join secondary education at Philip Mangula secondary school, where I graduated in 2016. Then, in 2019, I joined the Bulongwa Health Science Institute .
WHY
I chose to pursue a diploma in clinical dentistry because it is my hobby. I also want to help my community to maintain oral hygiene and to provide education to the community about oral and general health. My dream is to be a dental surgeon. I want to help my society through oral health education, that will help prevent oral diseases that affects the population, such as making society visit a doctor before starting using medication for their problems.
INTERESTS
During my free time, I like to discuss with my fellow students about self employment. I usually also visit orphans at the Bulongwa orphans center. Moreover, I use my free time to be in dental clinic to help visitors with advice and treatment.

A: Afesi Mbwilo has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Afesi Mbwilo .
