BACKGROUND
My family is leaving at Tabora municipal, and we are four children; three girls and one boy. My father and mother are peasants, working on the garden, where they are planting vegetables most of the time. I started my primary education in 2006 and completed in 2012 at Cheyo A primary school in Tabora. Then, I was selected to join my secondary education in 2013 which I completed in 2016, at Cheyo secondary school in Tabora. In 2020, I applied to join Mbeya University of Science and Technology, for a diploma in electrical engineering. Then, I decided to change the course to a diploma in biomedical equipment engineering.
WHY
I chose this because, firstly, it is a kind of engineering, and therefore, as a biomedical engineer, I need to work to repair, maintain, design and install in order to work on a diagnosis, treatment, research and prevention for the patient as well as the hospital personel. My dream job since I was little, has been to become an engineer. I was inspired by my teachers daughter, and I would like to be a civil engineer.
INTERESTS
My personal interests consist of reading books, especially story books or novels. I also like listening to music (choir), to play the keyboard and drums. Also, I like to design or decorating at home or other places.
