BACKGROUND
I have nine siblings, six of them are under eighteen years old. I studied at government schools from primary education until advanced level education and currently I am a University student.
WHY
I chose this profession because I really would like to work with the Ministry of Health as a dietitian. I was motivated to do so after seeing a close relative suffer from diabetes and that there was no counselling offered about nutrition. Also, an increased rate of Non- Communicable diseases still makes me think more about how to help the nation to prevent these diseases. I dream to be a Community Dietician, as I want to provide preventive nutrition education and counselling as well as diet planning. I also want to help those who are in rehabilitation phases for those who have been diagnosed with nutritional problems.
INTERESTS
I like volunteering and participating in various seminars and training. I actively participate in different club events as I am an active member of UDOM health club, the gender club, Sisi Tanzania organization, East Africa Youth forum and I like attending both local and national events in person and international events virtually.
