BACKGROUND
My family consists of five children, whereas three of them are currently at primary school, and two children has finished the level of primary school. Generally, my family is economically unstable and poor in such a way that my parents have failed to afford my tuition fees to the university. This is partly due to that fact my parent are retired. Us children are still depending on our parents, hence it brings difficulty in satisfying basic needs.
WHY
I chose this field of studies in order to be able to repair, calibrate and maintain medical devices. I also want to be able to design biomedical equipment and support systems, that adhere to medical standard guidelines, as well as being able to make installation of biomedical devices. One of my dreams within the biomedical area is also to design the equipment which can help treatment of the patients - for example suction machines, x-ray machines and patient beds, which will help physician to run diagnosis for their patient during treatment. I think my dream job would be a combination of creating a product that is making a difference in the world, and then getting a chance to share them with as many people as possible. I was excited about the position because I read that million of people can use a company's product each day, and it seems like the work I could do, could make a big impact in the world. Also, my dream job is to work at hospitals to repair, maintain and install equipment. Lastly, my dream is also to work internationally in order to gain more experiences from other biomedical engineer outside my country.
INTERESTS
For my free time, I enjoy volunteering with doing practices with the biomedical equipment at the hospital. I'm also interested in group organizations involved with different issues within the biomedical area. Also, I like to play football, listening to music, and also I'm interested in studying books concerning biomedical equipment.
