BACKGROUND
My name is Alkaldo Benedicto and I am from the Kasulu district found in the Kigoma region. I am part of the Ha people by tribe. I am the second child in a family of four. After completing primary school I got selected to study at Kinyaka secondary school in our village, where I graduated in 2010. I thank God my parents supported me for all of my studies and ensured that I do well enough to finally reach studies at University level.
WHY Medicine & Health
My dream job is to be an expert prosthetist and orthotist. I chose this program because I really want to help people with physical disabilities by making equipment that is affordable and durable. This will increase their quality of life and they will be able to move from one place to another and engage in productive activities.
INTERESTS
I like to read books, visting patients in orthopedic clinics and motivate them to use prosthetics.
