BACKGROUND
I'm the third of six children, five girls and one boy. My family has always relied on farming, as my parents are peasants.
MY CHOICE OF STUDIES
I chose agribusiness management and agricultural economics because it combined two of my interests: business and agriculture. My passion for agriculture and my desire to contribute to sustainable and efficient food production and distribution motivated me to pursue this course. My dream job is being an agricultural officer who has knowledge on both agriculture and business.
In terms of agriculture, promoting ecological conscious behaviors and sustainable agricultural chains. Dealing in seed improvement and soil profile to ensure that there is production of high quality crops, also animal improvement dealing in quality, quantity and breed improvement.
Having communication skill on how to handle negotiate and influence farmers , handling finances ,planning and conducting research aiming to gain more output in the agricultural firm.
INTERESTS
My personal interests major on my course since it is in two parts that is business and agriculture. In terms of entrepreneurship my aim is to know how to start and manage an agribusiness firm and focus on the development of the firm.
