BACKGROUND
I'm the third born of the eight children in our family. My family is heavily dependant on peasantry farming as a source of livelihood. My father performs casual labouring on village farms and our small fields while my mother attend to our family fields.
WHY
I chose agriculture studies for several key reasons. First, its practical nature will allow me to be self-employed, particularly if jobs are scarce. I envision establishing my own demonstration farm, which would not only provide employment for community members but also serve as a valuable training center. My dream job is being an agricultural extension worker. As an extension worker, I will be able to be closer to the people which will enable me Identify farming challenges like low crop yields and forward sustainable solutions. More so as an extension worker,it will be easy for me to lobby for government support on behalf of the community members forever cheap in puts like seeds and fertilizers.
INTERESTS
My main interest is community service for example I always join village members in garbage collection, environment conservation campaigns which are all aimed at ensuring a clean environment.
