Being in my last year it's a clinical year and every single day Monday to Friday I get to work on two dental patients and this is really good to me because it benefits my learning and at the same time giving back to community because it's all free. Nothing makes me feel good like seeing someone who walked into the hospital with pain and leaving with a smile. In the photo above I was at university premises just near the university all. Always ready for my daily schedule.

What kind of community outreach activity are you planning to do this semester? Am happy to tell you that I was invited by a friend of mine who is a dental surgeon to participate in a dental outreach program that’s scheduled to take place at the end of next month. It will take place on 27th-June-2021 at St John’s church in Gayaza, Wakiso district. We will offer free dental treatment to all people that will show up and educating people on how best to prevent dental diseases right from childhood. What worries you in the world and what can you do to change that? The increasing costs of health services. The day to day increasing costs attached to health services especially in our country Uganda is alarming for example dental services in Uganda are among the most expensive services and this prevents people from visiting dental clinics and hospitals due to the high costs attached to the service. Personally I feel health should come at a free or subsidised cost to enable all people to access it given the fact that a healthy nation is one that develops. Health should not be looked at as business. My contribution After finishing my studies I believe am going to make a big difference. Through our internship study program I will be giving free services to people for a full year. I will continue to give free consultation to people and I believe this will help reduce on the problem. I have a dream of building a dental hospital at one time which will be aimed at giving the best and free Dental services in Uganda.
