BACKGROUND
In my struggling family, my father passed away in 2021, and my mother is now caring for me and my two siblings. My education, from primary to secondary, was in public schools. I achieved aggregate 12 and 27 in P.7 and S.4. Pursuing my dream combination in A'level, I scored 15 points.
WHY
I chose to do bachelor of petroleum and environmental engineering because it is a two in one program. This will give me a wide career options after my studies and oil and gas industry in Uganda is at it's development stage, therefore I will have enough knowledge and skills required by this industry after my studies. My dream job is being a great and passionate petroleum and environmental engineer who will be able to manage both extracting oil with it's associated problems to the environment and managing the environment consecutively.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How can I trust ASINGWIRE PURITY is a real student?

A: ASINGWIRE PURITY has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with ASINGWIRE PURITY . We have also double-checked the given identity with Mbarara University. We now and then also do home-visits and met with a majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
