BACKGROUND
In our family, we are seven children and I am the first born. I am the only one who has managed to finish ordinary level and advanced level, as well as I am the only one who has reached university level of school. My parents are separated, so I have been working with my mother by taking care of other people's gardens, in order to raise fees for my studies. My father left our family after realising that he could not manage to look after us, and thus he went to another place and married another wife. We are generally living a hard life.
WHY
I chose this area of study because it is innovative and can also be applied in daily life activities. Furthermore, it will hopefully help me accumulate money that will help me to start up projects that will employ my home people. My dream job is to become a consultant in electrical and electronics related problems. I also want to start up my own electrical and electronics engineering company, where I can employ people who fail to make it to the university level. In my company, I can equip them with the competitive knowledge needed to compete in electronics companies, as well as to equip them with electrical installation skills, as a way of mitigating poverty in our area.
INTERESTS
In my free time, I read the Bible in order to find some encouraging words to strengthen me. I sometimes go to the pitch and play football. Whenever I am home, I am planning for my studies by looking for money to cater for the upcoming academic year.
