BACKGROUND
I grew up in Kagarama, Isingiro, with my parents, who were peasant farmers. My father left when I was twelve, leaving my mother to care for me and my five siblings. She taught me the importance of hard work and persistence in achieving success.
WHY
I chose to study medical laboratory science because I've always been passionate about biology and science. I also recognized the shortage of medical laboratory scientists, while the need for health status information through blood tests and diagnoses is growing. I felt this field was essential, and that I could make a positive impact on my community by pursuing it. My dream job as a medical laboratory scientist is to work in a reputable hospital with core values or making it into a research centre. God willing, I would love to also set up my own laboratory to extend services closer to people. In this way, I will be able to share my knowledge and skills to people by giving them awareness about their health life.
INTERESTS
Besides studies, I love to read some constructive materials in my free time, listen to music and do a little exercises to refresh my mind.
