I'm Babirye Anna Patricia, a Ugandan student in Electrical Engineering. Raised in a single-parent, financially strained home, I aim to overcome hurdles through education and contribute to societal change.
WHY
I chose Electrical and Electronics Engineering to address economic challenges in my family and community. Inspired by my late father, an electrical engineer, I aim to use technology to uplift and innovate. My goal is to contribute solutions for a brighter economic future. My dream job is to drive innovations in Electrical and Electronics Engineering for global impact, fostering sustainable growth, empowering women, and inspiring positive change in education and technology.
INTERESTS
My educational goal centers around obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with a heartfelt aspiration to uplift not only my family but also my community and country through the transformative power of education and technology. In pursuing this degree, I aim to acquire a solid foundation in engineering principles, enabling me to contribute meaningfully to technological advancements. Beyond personal development, my vision extends to inspiring young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. I plan to engage in mentorship programs and community outreach, sharing my journey and encouraging others to pursue education as a means of breaking the cycle of poverty. A: BABIRYE ANNA PATRICIA has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with BABIRYE ANNA PATRICIA . We have also double-checked the given identity with Mbarara University. We now and then also do home-visits and met with a majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
