BACKGROUND
I was born on 22nd December 1991 at Kahama District in Shinyanga region, being the second born of Mr and Mrs Elias Manyangali. I have ten siblings, four sisters and five brothers and we all share the same mother and father. My family is fully dependent on agriculture as a source of income for both survival and family development such as education and other matters. Thus we are working with some small-scale cultivation of different crops. I am a talented and disciplined boy who is creative, kind and trustworthy. I like to be advised and to advice others when necessary. I have the ability of working hard without depending on any external influences since I believe nobody works better under pressure. I do however like to interact with different people for sharing positive ideas. The biggest challenge I faced during my studies was when I failed to sit the end of semester exams because of a university school fees debt. It was so stressful to see my classmates do it while I was not allowed.
WHY Engineering & Natural Science
During my earlier (childish) days I was working with very tiny electrical circuits which made me famous in my neighborhood. Thus the spirit and desire to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering has been there for many years. My ambition is to develop my country so that we do not need to import electricity and electronic goods and can be more independent. I also want to help people who are aspire to produce good electricity and those who need help with getting electricity to their homes. I have a dream it is based on changing this nation from being a country which is importing electrical and electronics goods to a country which is more independent in terms of energy and electricity. Thus I dream of establishing an industry for designing and manufacturing electrical and electronics goods.
INTERESTS
During my spare time I really like to educate myself further in my field of studies (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), read novels, magazines and inspirational books to keep my brain active. I also use my spare time to participate in community activities performing different tasks, to play football and participate in athletics.
