BACKGROUND
I grew up with my mother in Mbeya, southwest Tanzania. When I was only five years old my mother passed away with Chronic Immunodeficiency Syndrome and I went to live with my grandmother. We lived together for six years until other relatives brought me to live with them in Dar es Salaam, promising to support me academically. However, they did not keep their promise and I registered as an orphan at Temeke Municipal where I was supported to study at Secondary School level. The struggle for financing further education continued as I got admitted to study at University level.
MY CHOICE OF STUDIES
Ever since primary school, I dreamt of working with medicine and I chose to become a nurse because in that way I could provide direct help to people. I dream to be a fountain of happiness and success for others, that is what I am destined to be.Having grown up without parents fighting his way forward every day, I understand the complexity in trying to erase poverty. I believe that by raising awareness on Reproductive Health and family planning methods, HIV/AIDS will be fought and this in turn will lead to less street children, less orphans and less problems in society. I am passionate about my education and hope to get employment at Muhimbili National Hospital, a hospital directly connected to the University. I wish to run my own foundation helping orphanages and working with HIV/AIDS prevention.
INTERESTS
I like painting, teaching, interacting with people, singing gospel and going to church.
