Receiving a scholarship has literally paved the way for me to finally be able to better myself, have a career that I am proud of, help people in their time of need and help support my family. Having a scholarship pushes me and gives me the motivation to work even harder.

As a graduate and changemaker I will do the following if I can:

1. Helping Neighbors
Every day, there are people around you who may be going through difficult times without you even knowing it. Their problems could be financial, physical, or psychological. In fact, loneliness is a growing issue that is often difficult to detect. By taking some time to get to know your neighbors, you can find out more about the challenges they face and develop ways to help them. Whether the solution is planning a budget, doing some grocery shopping, or even having a brief chat, a little effort can make a large difference in their lives.

2.Donate Stuff
There are more ways to help the community than by just contributing your time or money. Even by donating your unwanted possessions, you could be helping someone in need. Consider donating unwanted items to charity shops, or contributing unused food to a food bank.

3.Volunteer
Participating in volunteering activities is one of the most fulfilling ways to help the community i.e. visiting hospital patients and helping them acquire better diagnosis where possible. By committing to a shared activity, you get the opportunity to meet other people and make new friends. Volunteering with other people will also help you to improve your social skills.

During the next six months I will:
- Apply for practicing license from the governing body
- Applying for available job opportunities
- Looking out for masters scholarships

I was checking on the beans and maize we had planted around September for presence of weeds so that we would prepare a day and avoid pests and diseases destroying them. I was happy because they were growing so fast and healthy and soon we would have what to eat. The maize will be ready in late December.

A: Bashaija Bruno has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Bashaija Bruno .
