BACKGROUND
My name is Beatrice Kyaruzi and I am studying Bachelor of Science Agriculture general at Sokoine University of Agriculture. I am 23 years old and the first born in a family of three children and I am happy that my parents are both alive. I was born at Kayanga and grew up in Kagera - the lake zone part of Tanzania. My family depends on agriculture production. As a person I am open minded, cooperative, hardworking and a good problem-solver. I like interacting with people with different perspectives from my own. That enables me to learn new things.
WHY Engineering & Natural Science
The main reason that I choose this field of studies is the ambition to help farmers in our country to develop their ways of agricultural production including supporting them. I have always believed that without education life is shoddier. My dream is being an entrepreneur and being a great agriculturist within and out of my country.
INTERESTS
I use my spare time to read storybooks, play netball and listen to music.
