BACKGROUND
My name is Bertha Mwanijembe, I am 23 years old. I was born in Hai district in the Kilimanjaro region, Tanzania. I started primary school in 2006 up to 2012, secondary school from 2013 - 2016, advanced secondary school from 2017-2019, and university studies from 2019 up to now. My father is a peasant and my mother is a chef.
WHY
I chose this field because I like agricultural activities and I want to change my society and my parents who are participating in agriculture activities by cultivating a small area and depending on rainfall, develop irrigation systems like drip irrigation and sprinklers. I dream to work as an engineer in different rural areas and to encourage women to participate more in the agricultural sector. Also, I dream of becoming a water supply engineer so that I can help my society to be free of the scarcity of water by harvesting rain water for domestic uses.
INTERESTS
My hobbies: Reading the bible and other books, communicating with different people, computer practice and watching football.
