BACKGROUND
I am the child of a single parent after my father passed away in 2014. I started my primary level education in 2007 at Mkamba primary school, then I joined Kasita seminary up to 2018. In 2019 I joined a secondary school where I finished in 2021. In all these levels I passed well, therefore, I got an opportunity to join the university of Dodoma in 2021 for bachelor's degree studies to now where I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer networks and information security engineering. I shall graduate in 2025 with the help of Almighty God.
WHY
Based on the current situation of the world which is digitalized by computer systems, I was inspired to study information security to play a big role in securing online information. Also, to provide knowledge to society on how to protect themselves from being hacked or losing their information. Also, I was inspired to do programming so that I may solve different problems in my country, especially in my society which is still performed manually and can be simplified through computer programming. My dream is to be a great programmer so that I can solve different problems using computerized methods.
INTERESTS
Besides my studies I like playing piano and learning music theory. Also, I like reading books and watching football games to refresh my mind. I also like using most of my time in expanding my knowledge through sharing experiences with others which includes, computer programming and music theories among others.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How can I trust Damas Urio is a real student?

A: Damas Urio has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Damas Urio . We have also double-checked the given identity with University of Dodoma. We now and then also do home-visits and met with a majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
