BACKGROUND
I am Mr. and Mrs. Elliakim's first born child in a family of four children, followed by one young brother and two young sisters. My parents are both small agricultural farmers helping each other in the farming activities. My mother also makes some mats and sells them to increase the income. My parents earn around 900,000/=TSH (ca 3500 SEK) per year which does not satisfy our needs at home. I have had a lot of challenges in my life, mainly poor economic status which in turn led to other challenges. I missed some periods in school because I did not complete the school fees in time. People in my neighborhood discouraged me by saying that I can't reach my future goals because of my family's condition. But all these challenges made me try harder and struggle on. As a person I am wise and very kind. I like to help people when they are disheartened in various matters and have negative thoughts. I used to give confidence and encourage my friends about various matters in life.
WHY Medicine & Health
My dream job is to be an oral-maxillofacial specialist who help people having various dento-facial abnormalities fixing them and bring them to usual gladness like others. I really work hard to fulfill this dream.
INTERESTS
In my spare time in the evenings I use to chat with my friends and exchange ideas. I also do some body exercise and sing. I am an artist, a gospel singer- this is a talent God gave me. I like attending scientific conferences, reading blogs and inspirational books, engaging in quiz writings etc. But sports and music is my talent.
