BACKGROUND
I am the first born out of four children in my family which has two boys and two girls. My parents are farmers who would do all they can to provide for their children. Luckily I grew up having second pair of parents. These are my uncle and aunt, who took me in at a young age and raised as their own. They did everything for me, like taking me to school and making sure I stay healthy. Unfortunately my uncle passed away after I finished my secondary education. My parents then gladly took me back home and I feel blessed for having such a family.
WHY Medicine & Health
One night when I was very little I fell very sick. My parents decided to take me to the village dispensary where we found no one at that time of night. So my father put me on his back and peddled his bicycle to the District Hospital. We arrived only at sunrise since it was several villages away, and there were no cars or busses to take. I arrived in a critical condition. Since that day I wanted to be a medical professional in order to bring my available medical help to my society, and especially for children. I always watch people in my village going to the far- way hospitals for simple tests that are unavailable at our dispensary. By taking this field I will bring this service close to them. I want to assist doctors in knowing the patients disease and therefore help the doctor to treat the patient. Medical laboratory technologists collects and test patients samples for identification of different diseases, and that is exactly what I want to do.
INTERESTS
I love music and exploring the new discovering and news.
