BACKGROUND
We were born being three children in the family of Mr and Mrs Edwine Kanyamaha, me being the first born and the only girl. My history is inseparable from that of my father. He was an orphan, yet he was diligent in and out of the classroom. He is the person who paid for school charges from primary school to secondary school. In 1997 he was employed by a Spain organisation as a storekeeper. Despite being paid modest salary, he decided to enroll me in a good private school, believing that i would get a good and basic foundation for he future life. He used to tell me that "my daughter, I have lied through hardships and I pray that you should not experience or inherit them." Unfortunately, while I was about to complete my secondary education, the organisation that employed my father accomplished their mission in Tanzania, thus my father lost his job as well. I was personally advised to be taken into the college instead of advanced level of secondary school, the aim being gaining early skills and use it for employing myself. That, in order, would help me reach out to other children in our community. My colleague life has been very questionable, I used to have no computer or smartphone and no access to the internet. During my holidays I usually do indoor work aiming to get some money for personal use. During the difficulties, my father has emerged as a role model or icon of my struggle and creativity.
WHY
Most of the community members have no knowledge of using food, eat or cook them traditionally and not in order. As a result they find them selves eating toxins, which results to diseases which are emerging daily. From there, I dreamed to be a food scientist so that I could be part of the team of those who want to save the society from this new war devouring the society. To be a public facilitator/speaker on issued concerning with social development, health and income generation.
INTERESTS
Reading books, listening to successful stories, praying, listening or exchanging ideas to people with positive and challenging thoughts.
