BACKGROUND
I am the oldest child in a family of five children living in Kagera region, Tanzania. My family typically runs small businesses as a source of income. I completed my high school education in public schools and earned grades for a college education.
WHY
I want to support people to improve their health by providing expert nutrition and dietary advice. Also, to be able to promote a balanced lifestyle and improve people’s diets, while helping them to keep a healthy weight, boost their immune system, increase their energy levels, and reduce the risk of developing certain diseases. All of these can lead to a stronger nation. My dream is to become a nutritionist who can solve various nutritional problems that exist in my society. The nutritional problems I would like to identify include undernutrition and overnutrition, according to a survey, as of November 2021, 31.8% of children under the age of five in Tanzania have suffered from chronic malnutrition. These things cause growth failure in infants, so I would like to work on reducing them.
INTERESTS
My interests are: watching movies, reading books with inspiring stories and cooking.

Q: How can I trust Elina Stanslaus Selestine is a real student?

A: Elina Stanslaus Selestine has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Elina Stanslaus Selestine . We have also double-checked the given identity with Sokoine University of Agriculture. We now and then also do home-visits and met with a majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
