BACKGROUND
My family is pretty normal. My close family counts 4 people including me. I am the first born and my younger siblings. I acquired my primary and secondary education in my home village where I used to walk kilometers to school with the vision of one day becoming an engineer. My single mother is a primary teacher who's been raising me since an early age.
WHY
I chose my field of study that is biomedical engineering because I loved maths and science during my high school days and the thing that drives me is the rising health problems, such as a hole in the heart. This spurred the love of biology as I wanted to understand these conditions and sparked a feeling that I wanted to give back to the field of medicine. Biomedical engineering came along as the way of combining my desire to make things with my desire to contribute to the field of medicine, the doctors need the equipments to treat patients too. By pursuing biomedical engineering or related field, I would help develop the next device or procedure to have a positive impact in the world. So I loved it and can not see myself doing anything else to help the community around me. My dream job is to work in a leading company that deal in design and supplies of medical devices as well as extensive research about new innovations in the field of medicine.
INTERESTS
The things that interests me during my spare time are socialising with my friends and family members, playing football, learning about new ideas, reading non-fictional books and newspapers.
