BACKGROUND
I am the first born in a single-parent family of 9 children. My father left us a long time ago when I was in primary school and since then my mother has been taking care of us through her small-scale fruit vending business. My previous education was mostly supported by my mother through her savings and sometimes from church donations.
WHY
I love nature and the natural environment in general; wildlife and biodiversity being part of it sparked my desire towards pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management. After successfully completing my degree I will use my knowledge to ensure sustainable conservation, utilization and protection of wildlife and biodiversity resources through community awareness. I would love to work as a wildlife and biodiversity conservation expert, specialist and consultant to ensure the sustainable conservation and utilization of biodiversity resources. I believe by being a consultant I will have enough room and the right space to collaborate and share my knowledge with relevant government departments, applicable NGOs (national and international) etc. To ensure the sustainable conservation, management and protection of the wildlife and biodiversity resources.
INTERESTS
I like sports, especially swimming, nature walks and bird watching. I love to volunteer in offering environmental conservation education in primary and secondary schools which are located close to my university. Reading motivation books and novels is also something I am interested in.
