BACKGROUND
My name is Emile H Hezron. My father abandoned me when I was a child, and up to standard grade 4 I lived with my grandmother. From then I started living with my mother, my young sister and step father. I have studied at government schools and my fee was paid by my mother and other relatives, each contributing a little. My mothers occupation is taking water from the stream for those who are building houses.
WHY Medicine & Health
I have been inspired by the health situation in our community and my contribution after I have completed my studies will be to makes sure thatmy small community have access to a hospital, to ensure that we decrease the number of death that occur because of difficulties in accessing health services. Also providing education concerning the importance of ensuring toilets are clean and the importance of water preservation. My dream job is to be pediatrician. I want to do research concerning diseases that affect children, the reasons for the occurrence of such diseases and what should be done to eradicate such diseases.
INTERESTS
I have not had the opportunity to do so yet, but I would like to use my spare time to go to the nearby school and provide some basic health information.
