I'm happy to know that soon I'll be a person who other people going through rough times can lean on.

BACKGROUND
I grew up in a family of peasants who believed that educating me is the key to bring changes in my family as well as in my community. With the family support, I went to affordable government schools to get my primary and secondary education to achieve my goals without hurting the economy of my family. My tertiary education is also in a government university where I hope to complete my studies soon with support from "Help to Help" and I'm happy to know that soon I'll be a person who other people going through rough times can lean on.
MY CHOICE OF STUDIES
UN report has stated that each year, 2.5 million people become infected with HIV, 8 million contract tuberculosis (TB), and between 300 million - 500 million fall ill from malaria. I decided to take Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences so that I can help my community in the fight against these 3 killers and the like. I see myself as a great researcher in the field of biotechnology who will contribute much by coming up with solutions to various pressing issues in my community.
INTERESTS
I enjoy learning music in my free time and this allows me to connect with and have insights on different cultures around the world. I also like reading different articles about nature and science.
