BACKGROUND
My name is Francis Nyahume from Serengeti, Mara region in Tanzania. My family lives in the Serengeti district in the village known as Iramba near Serengeti national park. My family lives by small agricultural activities and has a few goats. I started my primary school at Magatini primary school about 7KM from my home, then my secondary school at Ngoreme secondary s school which is found near my village about 10KM from our home. I started my diploma at Mbeya university of science and technology in 2020.
WHY
I decided to study this field of civil engineering because of the following reasons: (i)To help my society in the construction of good housing and other infrastructures found in my field of studies. (ii)To be able to use our natural resources in construction for better housing. (iii) To help my society to increase the value of the construction material found in our society. My dream job is to be a good engineer in building design and construction and other civil structures like bridges and roads. I believe by working hard on my studies and field of studies I can achieve my goals.
INTERESTS
In my free time besides from my studies I like to play football video games like PES Football with my friends and watching movies. Also, I like to play football as my exercise and jogging in the morning, as well as listen to and play music.
