BACKGROUND
I grew up in a family of five kids, taken care by both parents. It is a very happy family. Both of my parents are peasants. My previous education was very enjoyable because I studied in a school which was very well equipped with studying materials.
WHY
I chose this particular field of study because I am interested to study the of aquatic organisms and their environment. This field also will help me attain the vision of myself that I need to be. Also the slogan of our late president, Dr. John Pombe Magufuli - which is about "the blue economy" - supports many activities that depends on aquatic environment like fishing activities, which makes me stay motivated. In my future I would like to be a marine scientist, which is my dream job. This is because of the great interest I have on the study about benthic environment, as well as diving. I also have a dream of being a lecturer so that I can pass on the knowledge I'm currently getting for the next generation.
INTERESTS
In my free time I like to volunteer in different working fields of aquaculture. This is simply because they are going to add much value to my course of study. I also like participating in charity funds to support the needs, especially for the kids who lives in hardship, the disabled and orphans.

I took the photo immediately after I completed recording the readings measured for water quality parameters such as pH, Salinity, Temperature and dissolved Oxygen. The readings were recorded using specific aquaponic research instruments used to monitor the life of aquatics.

As a changemaker, I added value to my community here at the University through teaching my fellow students essential skills for CV and Cover letter writing as well as important tips for an interview. Almost 50%of the people attended the workshop we're not sure on the knowledge they have on these objectives of our workshop but at the end of the workshop people were competent. I also added value to myself during the workshop by gaining confidence, being a good leader as well as being responsible and compassionate. In the photo, I was in the laboratory regulating the compound microscope before the practical session began. The study to be done was the identification and abundance of phytoplanktons in fresh pond water.

On the photo I am at the University of Dar es Salaam. I was in the class having personal revision immediately after the lecture session. This helps in increasing my memory and understanding of class academic sessions. This semester I expect to learn more about computer skills so as I can be an expert and meet the today's world demands.
