BACKGROUND
I was born 1991 in Musoma Mara, Tanzania. I lived with my parents and my two sisters. I've had difficulties pursuing my studies because I haven't had good financial support from my family. My father died in 2011 so I couldn't join university as planned in 2015. In 2016, I joined university after having some support from my sister.

FREQUANTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How can I trust Frown is a real student?

A: Frown has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application, interviewed Frown via Skype. We have also double-checked the given identity with University of Dar es Salaam. We now and then also do home-visits, and met with a clear majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pays school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for our students who submit their grades and receipts in time, who perform well in school with at least an avarage grade of B. The payment is done straight to each university. We demand each student to bring the official receipt from the administration office.

Q: Why do each student has their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
