BACKGROUND
I am a 22 years old Tanzanian girl born in Moshi rural, located in Kilimanjaro region. I am last born in a family of seven children. I come from a family of local peasants. My parents and relatives struggle hard in order to earn money to pay for my school fee and accommodation costs at the same time as providing for the family. This is a very serious challenge as we are living under difficult conditions because what they earn is little compared to our demands. Sometimes I have not been able to pay my school fee on time and I have skipped classes to collect money from relatives. This economic situation has made me feel stress during my studies. I am accountable, I work hard and I believe in changes. I like socializing with people in order to learn new things and give knowledge.
WHY Education
I wish to help others who suffer to realize their potentials and make the best of their opportunities. I want to remove the idea that girls don't have the same potential in our community! My vision is that I become an ambassador of change in this question and my education can help me realize it. My dream is to become a teacher and community facilitator. I am eager to identify problems in the community and find solutions to them, in order to bring changes in the community.
INTERESTS
In my time off I listen to music and inspirational talks, they give me confidence and courage in doing things.

Q: How can I trust Glory Mphuru is a real student?

A: Glory Mphuru has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Glory Mphuru . We have also double-checked the given identity with University of Dar es Salaam. We now and then also do home-visits and met with a majority of our students.

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
