BACKGROUND
I am from a humble family background and spent most of my early years with my grandparents. It is a very large family and for that reason growing up was really fun and lively. My parents are both peasant farmers and that makes agriculture the main source of income to the family. Making it up to this level of education has been a hustle and working hard, but I have always been hopeful and that kept me moving.
WHY
In my country, Uganda, little attention is put in this field and yet it is one of the most necessary fields. A case in point is the Lord's Resistance Army war which affected very many people in mostly Northern and Eastern Uganda where people lost body parts. To live a normal life they would need prostheses which are affordable. So the demand for accessible and affordable prostheses pushed me to this field. I see myself working as a regenerative engineer, concerned with replacement of damaged, malfunctioning and worn-out body tissues.
INTERESTS
I like spending my free time playing volleyball, visiting friends, doing community service like cleaning and also listening to music. Wow, I love dancing too!
