BACKGROUND
I was born on the 22th of June 1989, in Kyela, Mbeya in the southern part of Tanzania. I am currently pursuing my second term of the first year at the University of Dodoma, taking a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing. I am currently living with my mother. My parents have a background as simple farmers growing maize and rice. Unfortunately, my father died in 2005, leaving me with my mother and older sister, whom also passed away in 2009, leaving me alone with my mother as the only supporter. Despite the difficult family situation, I kept on struggling with my studies. Luckily, the hard work payed off for me and in 2011 I graduated from Upper Secondary School (Advanced level), making me eligible for university level education. Soon after, I got accepted to the university, where I am today pursuing my marketing degree. I have high ambitions for my future career. I aim to become a marketing manager, working for one of the major players in the telecom sector such as Airtel, Vodacom or Tigo. It is with this determination in mind that I am pursuing my university studies, and with the support from Help to Help, there will be nothing stopping me from realizing my dreams.
