BACKGROUND
I am Jackline Cley from Morogoro region. I am 23 years old, the second born on my mother's side and the first born on my father's side. My parents do not live together, they have been separated since I was young. Both of them are peasants, they cultivate maize and tomatoes so as to earn money of buying some basic needs and paying school fees for us. But our life become difficult because they do not get enough money that can enable me to pay tuition fee in my higher education level but another challenge is, sometimes the market is unstable. Due to that situation, I've faced a lot of challenges. I've been failing to buy books and paying tuition fees. But all in all I take those challenges as a way forward to reach my goals because there is one saying which says that 'No Pain no Gain' so I become strong through the challenges that face me. Also I thank Help to Help Scholarship for their support. I will study hard in order to help my community and country at large, and I am sure that I will make it.
WHY Education
My dream is to become a lecturer. I want to educate teachers and care givers who works in early childhood institutions within and outside Tanzania so that they become more knowledgeable in providing quality care and education to children. Since the care and education a child receive in the first six early years has impacts in the future learning success, I will contribute to that children will be prepared well physically, socially, intellectually and emotionally and therefore they will be in a good position of reaching their dreams.
INTERESTS
I like playing netball and doing physical exercises. Sometimes I use my spare time to read psychology books so as to increase my knowledge.
