BACKGROUND
I was born in 30/11/1990 at Simiyu region in Tanzania. I am the only child from my parents, my father died in 1991 and my mother died in 1994. After the death of my mother and up to this date my grandmother has been the one who has taken care of me. My grandmother is a peasant who cultivates some crops like maize, which she sells to get money for food and some money to pay for my school fees. However, she is now 69 years old and she is suffering from osteoporosis disease so she can no longer walk a long distance and she is not able to involve in agriculture works any more. Since it was what we depended on in our daily life, my challenge is that I now lack school fees so that I can accomplish my studies at my college. I dream of becoming a great civil engineer. I am a well-disciplined, hardworking and polite student so I believe I can achieve my goals. I like helping people, singing and listening to gospel music as well as playing football.
