BACKGROUND
I live in a family of six children and grew up in a religious household. I lived in a village called Sango, in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. My family is extended and only one other sibling has finished grade four with exception of myself. I studied primary school and was then selected to join secondary school education up to grade six level in a government school. I then joined college and studied for a diploma in Health Laboratory Sciences for three years. Thereafter I volunteered to work at the National Blood Bank before pursuing a Bachelor of health Laboratory Sciences which is where I currently study.
WHY Medicine & Health
I have a dream to help my society grow healthy through providing education about prevention measures to eliminate the causes of diseases such as Malaria and HIV. To achieve this I wish to open a laboratory diagnostic centre and work hard to help doctors diagnos their patients. This will help my society and government at large to extend health service to all parts of the country.
INTERESTS
I'm interested in reading books, singing gospel music, watching football and searching for new medical scientific approaches on the internet.
