BACKGROUND
I was born in Kagera and started school in Kigoma, where we moved to as my father worked there. In 2007 we moved to Mwanza where I finished my primary and secondary school. In 2014 we moved to Dar es Salaam where I completed my advanced secondary education and live up to now. I am from a Christian family of four children and we live with our father. All the children are studying and our main family economic activity is farming. In my previous school my performance was good due to my hard efforts and the good study-environment I had.
WHY Medicine & Health
My dream job is to become a medical laboratory scientist, diagnose different diseases and conduct medical research on the diseases that affect my community. Through my future profession I will educate the community about the importance of medical checkups and the consequences of treatment without seeking professional medical advice. I will also educate them on matters of hygiene, nutrition and health care in general.
INTERESTS
I like listening to music and reading different inspirational books.

A: Jennifer Butiye has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Jennifer Butiye .
