BACKGROUND
My family is cared for by a single strong mother, and I'm the first born in my family. My mther provides us with the best models of behavior associated with character development, and she assists the family to develop our abilities to interpret different social situations. My mother is a farmer and she is responsible for our basic needs. However, becasue of her poor health condition she is restricted from conducting her normal activities. Attaining education has been a painful learning experience. During school I did extra curricular activities which contributed to my personal development and skills, including sports and leadership. This influenced me to attain higher archievement in my education progress.
WHY Medicine & Health
I'm pursuing the health care field, to both prevent illness and disease, and help individuals adopt a healthy behavior. Since the population is growing exponentially, a high demand is expected for public health professionals. I'm passionate about helping people and making a difference in health care is one of the most rewarding career choices there is. We should not find our inspiration from job titles and superficial appearances. We should extrapolate meaning from deeper values and apply it to the way we have chosen to live. I have always been interested in a career in health care, since there are plenty of benefits that come from this sort of career. A rewarding experience , potentially lucrative pay, passion from helping the society and saving people's lives. As a pharmacist, I should have an extensive knowledge to determine if prescriptions will work well for patients medical conditions and pre-existing drug uses. And, I would be able to work in pharmacies, drug stores and in hospital drug dispensaries.
INTERESTS
My personal interests are; Club membership involvement, blogging, sports, art, travelling for learning purposes, and reading some referencing book, and articles that relate to my field.
