BACKGROUND
I was born on August 04 2001 in Tanzania, Kilimanjaro. I have both parents but unfortunately they already separate when I was nine years old. We are three children from my mother while from father we are six children. I spent most of my early childhood with my mother. Both of my parents are farmers and they live at Kilimanjaro. I did my primary education from Ngirini primary school, then I selected to join secondary education at Kirima secondary school and senior secondary education at Chamwino secondary school, Dodoma. After senior secondary education, I was selected to join the national building army of Tanzania (JKT) for three months. I was trained for three months then back to home. Unfortunately, the person with whom I left my information to help me for application of loan board (HESLB), did not apply, that's why I choose Help to Help for supporting my education.
WHY
I chose mathematics and statistics because that seemed to be my strength which derived from my curiosity in nature. I dream to become mathematician and statistician so that i can use the knowledge I will obtain to help the society in different ways such as in education system. Mathematics plays an important role in shaping the future probability of young people. Education is to develop an individual, to make her/him self-reliant, to make her/him wise, to make her/ him a social contributor and in our education system, for almost every subject we study in school and university we need to study mathematics. Also statisticians are valuable employees in a range of industries, and often seek roles in areas such as business, health and medicine, government, physical sciences, and environmental sciences. As I grew up, my interests evolved around subjects in school, particular geography, mathematics and economics in high school. Most of my time I spend studying because if I do well in mathematics and other courses it will be simple to pass. I'm interested in mathematics and statistics because I like to become the best mathematician and statistician.
INTERESTS
Apart from studying, most of the time when I'm free, I spend on reading different speech of famous people in order to obtain more knowledge. For example my role model Barack Obama on may 28 2008 said that "no matter what we look like or where we come from or who our parents are, each of us should have the opportunity to fulfil our God-given potential. Each of us should have the chance to achieve the American dream". It shows me that, I can do better to reach my dreams.
