I am on long holiday of four months. I started volunteering at a kindergarten school located in Karen and with time they were impressed with my work and I was lucky they offered me a temporary part-time job as a Transport assistance. Which entails ensuring that all the children have boarded the bus to and from home safely.

I am in class waiting for our maths lecturer morning lesson. During my Holiday I was a volunteer in a neighborhood school and I got a job as a child minder which enabled me to get pocket money to keep me up in school. I am glad to come back to school to learn and also get new friends . Looking forward to learn more this semester.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How can I trust Joyce is a real student?

A: Joyce has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application, interviewed Joyce via Skype. We have also double-checked the given identity with Wote Technical Training College. We now and then also do home-visits, and met with a clear majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pays school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for our students who submit their grades and receipts in time, who perform well in school with at least an avarage grade of B. The payment is done straight to each university. We demand each student to bring the official receipt from the administration office.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
