BACKGROUND
I grew up in a farming family, lost my mother at 14 due to an accident. My father supported our education through farming. I excelled in primary school, received a bursary for O-level at Equatorial College Ibanda. Completed A-level at Maryhill High School with 13 points. Joined Mbarara University in 2023 for a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
WHY
I chose Mechanical and Industrial Engineering due to a childhood passion for machines. Inspired by a local welding workshop, my goal is to introduce more such workshops, provide skills and employment to the youth, and establish industries to alleviate unemployment and poverty in my home area. My dream job is being a manufacturing engineer in an industry or company. Manufacturing engineers are responsible for designing,implementing and improving manufacturing systems and processes to ensure efficient and high quality production

I like watching soccer I like reading different books novels or palys I like engaging in spiritual activities like doing some work at church, joining religious movements I like socializing with people around and making friends

Q: How can I trust KEMIGISHA KELLEN is a real student?

A: KEMIGISHA KELLEN has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with KEMIGISHA KELLEN . We have also double-checked the given identity with Mbarara University. We now and then also do home-visits and met with a majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
