Growing up in a rural farming community inspired me to pursue a career in sustainable agriculture and improve food security.
BACKGROUND
Raised in rural Ntungamo by peasant farmer parents, I excelled in local primary school and went on to a reputable secondary school in Mbarara.
MY CHOICE OF STUDIES
Throughout my education, I've been committed to giving back to my community and creating opportunities for others. I'm also passionate about reducing the burden of malnutrition. Ultimately, I want to help rural communities increase their incomes, improve their livelihoods, and enhance their overall well-being. I aspire to work as a sustainable agriculture specialist.
I wish to be able to work with farmers and researchers, communities to develop and implement environmentally friendly agriculture practices.
With the main purpose of ensuring access to healthy food.
INTERESTS
Beyond my studies, I'm passionate about developing practical skills like hair braiding. I also enjoy gardening and occasionally read inspirational books. These activities bring me joy and a sense of purpose.
