BACKGROUND
I was raised in a remote area of the nation and my family and I lived in a village called Lamadi Village. My parents always insisted that I stay in school because it helps people to get rid of hazards in life. My parents, now as they are getting older, still insist that I share my life with other people. I'm thankful to everything that comes in front of me because it strengthens me.
WHY Medicine & Health
My dream is to be a physician and a general neurosurgeon. To reach my dream, I decided to study medical science. I shall be diagnosing, preventing and treating diseases and advice people how to live for better health.
INTERESTS
I would like to be a violin player.

Here I’m volunteering to my village health center called Mkula hospital to offer free education on exclusive breast feeding to mothers, malnutrition and Neonatal sepsis as the main cause of neonatal death to my community and their danger signs so that mothers could see and run and seek for the medical help.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How can I trust Kulwa Batule is a real student?

A: Kulwa Batule has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application, interviewed Kulwa Batule via Skype. We have also double-checked the given identity with Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College. We now and then also do home-visits, and met with a clear majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pays school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for our students who submit their grades and receipts in time, who perform well in school with at least an avarage grade of B. The payment is done straight to each university. We demand each student to bring the official receipt from the administration office.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
