BACKGROUND
My name is lainess Mwenda and I am 24 years old . I am Tanzanian and my home town is Njombe. I'm an undergraduate student from St.joseph College of Agriculture Science and Technology in the field of B.Tech in Food process engineering. My family is a large family and I live with my parents ,siblings and other relatives where we depend on agriculture activities to run our life . My parents are peasant who cultivates only for food on our table due to lack of capital. This makes life to be hard since we lack money for other daily life expenditures . The challenges I'm experiencing is the poor support from my family on education bases and this is due to lack of enough money to allow my education to go in a smooth way. I have had to starve so as to reduce my expenditures so as to save some amount of money for tuition fees but I'm happy because this makes me strong to struggle much to ensure that I have to meet my goals and I will be able to help others . I believe in power of possibilities that I can do great in my life time but this can only possible through education. As a person I am ambitious, confident ,co-operative ,am willing to learn and interact with other to share ideas and to get new experiences. I also like to have network connections with as many people as I can .
WHY Engineering & Natural Science
My dream job is to become powerful woman entrepreneur in food processing and production as well as catering activities. I chose this line of study so that I can be able to make my society think and see that agriculture is an important job and I can increase their financial status through food processing.
INTERESTS
On my spare time I engage myself with learning about real life time experiences on engineering activities as well as decoration activities. I also spend time with friends to exchange ideas and have fun together as a part of refreshment.
