BACKGROUND
My name is Leticia Paschal Sylvestor and I come from Mwanza, Tanzania. I was born in May 1996 in the Nyamagama district, where I also grew up. I am the third child among four children and none of my siblings are employed. Both my parents are peasants and my mother also has a small restaurant, which assists her to get some extra money for our family needs. I thank my parents, aunt and uncle for their support in my studies. They have been struggling but didn’t lose hope despite their financial status.
WHY Medicine & Health
My dream job is to become a pharmacist. I will be able to describe the proper treatment for specific diseases and give appropriate prescriptions to medicines or drugs.
INTERESTS
I like watching TV to get information and knowledge on what’s happening in the world.

FREQUANTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How can I trust Leticia is a real student?

A: Leticia has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application, interviewed Leticia via Skype. We have also double-checked the given identity with Kampala International University. We now and then also do home-visits, and met with a clear majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pays school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for our students who submit their grades and receipts in time, who perform well in school with at least an avarage grade of B. The payment is done straight to each university. We demand each student to bring the official receipt from the administration office.

Q: Why do each student has their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
